God Is the Source of Financial Blessing
The changing economic scenarios demonstrate the uncertainty of finances across the world. Instead of showing their faith in the Almighty who takes care of all their needs, virtually all the Christians trust their investments, retirement plans, and savings to ensure happiness, peace, and security just to find their hopes dashed and their assets depleted. A number of people are simply spending their lives in vain trying to attain financial security in an unstable world.
Our God, on the other hand, wants us to live carefree lives and liberate us from the anxiety that we get from thinking endlessly about money and other materialistic possessions. Instead of putting all our trust into a worldly system that cannot ensure our well-being, or depending on our personal and weak capabilities for our needs, we should depend on Him.
Listed below are some points that will help you to place all your faith in the Heavenly Father and put all your trust into Him for your finances:
Understand That God Is Worthy of Your Faith and Trust
The psalmist cited, “The words of the Lord are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified seven times." You can have faith in God to do just what He says. He is the One who created this universe and established the laws and the rules that govern all of creation. He owns everything and is far more capable of taking care of your needs than you could ever think. The writer of Proverbs quotes, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart…In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Hence, you should make God and His promises the base of your financial security.
Recognize That the Lord Wants You to Live An Abundant and a Full Life
Our God promises to give every obedient Christian a joyous, overflowing life irrespective of financial position. Jesus said to His followers, "I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly." This generous reassurance comprises of financial freedom.
Replace Fear With Faith
There's always that one mental block that can cause you to question your faith and dump you into financial bondage: fear. When stress over the future grabs you, you lose the ability to have faith in God and trust Him to provide for your needs.
On the other hand, by adhering to His will for your life, you will hold onto your faith firmly and open your life to His plentiful blessings. You can then work on God’s principles for financial liberation.
