Are you in need of calm, quiet, and peace of mind? Do you struggle with stress and feelings of angst? Lavender is widely used for its calming and relaxing qualities. Regularly used by the ancient Romans and Egyptians, lavender oil offers a number of health benefits when it comes to calming.
For instance, the oil possesses natural stress-relieving properties that help protect against anxious feelings and promote relaxing energies. In fact, lavender brings these soothing elements to skin health, relieving skin irritations and minor skin issues. The oil supplies similar properties when it comes to muscle discomfort, easing strain and tension. Lavender’s strong calming properties, along with its natural ability to relieve skin problems and muscle stress, make it one powerful agent to have on hand when you’re in need of relaxation.
To ease sleep, add 1-2 drops lavender to your pillows and linens or massage into the soles of the feet. You can also add a drop or two to teas, desserts, baked goods, or marinades for a soothing flavor.
For muscle support, rub 1-2 drops into the area of concern. You can also use lavender in a homemade spray to scent closets or your car with the pleasant aroma. Lastly, you can apply lavender topically to support skin health. Simply rub 1-2 drops softly over the affected area.
