Evangelism Through Prophecy

We live in a day where individuals realize that something is different. Most individuals believe the world will end, although they believe it will not happen during their lifetime.  Popular secular belief is that the world will end in the future during another generation.  It is the freight train barreling down the track, but if I ignore it, it won't hit me. This is the mentality of most people.

However, there is great interest in all of the apocalyptic drama, and it is portrayed through Hollywood, as well as gaming and different secular resources.  Due to this, evangelism is ripe for the harvest!  Spiking someone's interest during world event discussions can start with us remarking, "There is a Bible study that will answer questions regarding world events, and I would be happy to set that up with you!"

Personal evangelism is a tremendous tool to reach individuals through the power of caring and one-on-one contact.  Introducing someone to the Word of God through prophecy is a rewarding experience.  There are several resources that allow someone that knows little about prophecy to still adequately give Bible studies as evangelism.

It has been said there are over 2,000 prophecies written in scripture, and today we are the generation seeing over 90% of these prophecies fulfilled. Fulfilled scripture without contradiction proves the Word of God like nothing else.  Prophecy is a mighty outreach resource. When you can prove the Word of God through fulfilled prophecy, it assists in explaining scripture as the infallible Word of God and literal doctrine without question!

Prophecy builds urgency in individuals to respond positively towards relationship with God.

Hosea 4:6 (KJV)  My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Many individuals are not knowledgeable regarding prophecy; therefore, there is not any urgency for relationship with God. Once they understand the Word of God correlating to the times in which we live, complacency can be replaced by urgency!

Prophecy evangelism today plays a most important part of awakening the church during this Laodicean age.

Revelation 3:14-18 (KJV)  And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

John the Revelator was shown a church in the last days that was neither cold nor hot.  It was rich, increased with goods, self-sufficient, having need of nothing!  Today prophecy evangelism wars against the antichrist spirit to break this deceptive force, awakening saints to respond to Bible prophecy for both the church and the sinner! Bible prophecy evangelism is vital in fighting against the slumbering, intoxicating spirit attempting to deceive the church to non-action during this end-time hour!

Bible prophecy and evangelism go hand in hand!
